As shared by The Post, Jennifer Seifert is pioneering an innovative solution to Southeast Ohio’s housing crisis—using 3D printing technology to create sustainable, affordable homes through the New Leaf Justice Enterprises program.
Beyond the 3D-printed homes, the program offers a comprehensive wraparound model—combining free housing for up to two years, childcare, counseling, and living-wage employment. Participants move from training to on-the-job experience, eventually transitioning into independent housing and sustainable careers.
“This technology has the promise to not only address the affordable housing issue, but … become an economic driver as we train people on the technology and grow this new and innovative industry here in Appalachian Ohio,” Seifert told The Post.
